This work was created in response to time spent among the redwood forests of Northern California, where scale, repetition, and age reshape perception. Moving through the grove, the body becomes aware of its own rhythm, filtered light, and the steady presence of trees that have witnessed centuries of change.

Handwoven and painted as a response to this immersive environment, this piece invites a slowing, a return to presence, and a quiet recognition of belonging within something much larger than oneself.
