Born in Romania and based in San Francisco, Raluca Germain received her Bachelor of Architecture from the Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago. This background in structure, design, and material exploration continues to inform her artistic practice, which merges weaving, painting, sound, and poetry to render metaphysical principles in tangible form.
